Looking into the new entry way from the outside, standing on the new side porch.
Old dining room, painted new!
Laundry room with grouted tile-trim is next.
Looking into the kitchen from the entry hallway. That's the island on the left. You can see the new wall for the bar overhang peaking out the top.
Another shot of the dining room looking through to the old living room.
Newly grouted kitchen tile.
The wall cabinets have not yet been installed. This is looking from the family room into the kitchen at the back of the island. That's the wall to support the overhang.
Our old bedroom/new guest bedroom/study with new drywall and new paint.
Another shot of the awesome dining room color (can you tell it's my favorite?)
Closer up shot of the old living room, with new paint.
Another shot of the kitchen. I'm standing next to the island, with my back to the pantry.
Jes, everything is looking great! What color did you use in the old bedroom/guest bedroom? I love it! And the old living room - is that also a greenish color? I wanted our kitchen to be a green/grey like that. Instead we ended up with a yellower pastel green that I'm not a huge fan of... Is the completion date still set for Oct 15th?
ReplyDeleteThanks Mel! The color in our old bedroom and the living room is Glidden, Hazy Sage. This is the third iteration of this color we've attempted over the course of our relationship and we finally got it right! The first one we tried at the old town house was too dark. The old color of the old bedroom was too yellow (it was called fennel, after all). We're really pleased with this one! Still shooting for mid-October and yesterday the contractor seemed to think that we're still on track!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling I will be seeing that Hazy Sage in a living room much closer to here...
